BASE 24V FIRE ALARM CALL POINT

The Base call point is based on the KAC World Series. The address of each call point is set at the commissioning stage by means of a seven-segment DIL switch. If an MCP is activated it interrupts the normal protocol to give a fast response. The Base call point has 4 bytes of non-volatile memory available for the user in the same way as Discovery detectors. The call point has the conventional alarm facility. The Base manual call point has only one response mode. This is factory preset to 16.

All Manual call points are designed to comply with the latest European standards: EN54 part 11.With the resettable element, the need for replacement glass is negated as the unit may be reset using the key provided. The test key is inserted into the front of the unit in order to allow its use wherever it may be sited. The user can test the call point with the test key or by depressing the element.Every call point comes with an LED for indication of Alarm. There is no need to remove the front cover and the glass at installation; just one screw fixes the whole unit together.
