Aico's range of heat alarms are highly responsive to high temperatures and are designed for kitchens and garages or other areas where there is a high chance of nuisance alarms when using smoke alarms, benefits of heat alarms is that they decrease false alarms. These alarms are suitable for use in areas where BS5839 comes into force. Heat alarm must not be used on their own they should always be used in conjunction with a smoke alarm.
